The Danville Community School District is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Elementary Physical Education Teacher to join our team. This position will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education instruction to students in elementary grades (K-5). The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

:

  • Valid Iowa Teaching License required
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification in Physical Education.
  • Experience working with elementary-age students (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being in students.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:
