Join our team as a WISLR GeoEditor LTE and provide technical assistance for continuing safety and federal improvement requirements!

Position Summary:

This LTE position will provide assistance for varies divisions in the maintenance and use of the WISLR GIS database for 100,000 miles of local roads. This position will also provide assistance in the maintenance and use of the LINK-LINK data, related applications, and documentation. LINK-LINK data currency and quality is critical to several ongoing safety and federal initiatives within the Department, including HPMS submittals, RP Coding of crashes, and the Department’s migration to a single all roads linear reference system (LRS) as part of DTIM’s ARNOLD Initiative). LINK-LINK is a key component to integrate DOT’s two enterprise Linear Reference Systems (LRS): the State Trunk Network Location Control Management (STN LCM) LRS, and the Wisconsin Information System for Local Roads Location Control Management (WISLR LCM) LRS.

This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position and limited to 1,039 hours.

Wisconsin residency is required for Limited Term Employment positions.

We are looking for a motivated individual who has experience utilizing ArcMap and ArcGIS Online Applications as well as experience interpreting plans, certified survey maps, or other legal documentation to translate into linework.
