Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.

Summary:

Provides crisis intervention services at the hospital or in the community. Provides emergency psychiatric evaluations and treatment. Stabilizes patients for continued treatment and arranges for treatment as indicated. Lities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides crisis stabilization intervention to individual patients and/or their families or significant others either in the Crisis Intervention Service at Danbury Hospital or as part of the Mobile Outreach Service.

  2. Provides planning and implementation of the patient's disposition plan either in the Crisis Intervention Service at Danbury Hospital or as part of the Mobile Outreach Service.

  3. Supports Behavioral Health Service Line in providing and managing all patient care.

  4. Understands & maintains compliance to all regulatory agencies & the Danbury Hospital Code of Business Ethics.

  5. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required: Collaborate and assist LCSW staff in running and documenting groups for Intensive Outpatient level of care.

Minimum Experience: three years

Desired: LADC preferred. Three years experience, both inpatient and outpatient.
