Excellent Electrophysiology Opportunity – Fairfield County, CT – One Hour from New York City

Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time, clinical electrophysiologist, to join our busy and growing employed practice in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut. We are just 50 miles out outside of New York City and adjacent to Westchester County in NY. The practice also includes advanced practitioner support. Norwalk Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is accredited as a Stroke Center and certified to provide Emergency Angioplasty for heart attack. Danbury Hospital’s Emergency Department is an accredited Level II Trauma Center, a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, offering 24-hour interventional cardiology. Cardiac services at the hospital include Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and an Arrhythmia Center. Our Cardiac Surgery Program includes TAVR.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiology and board certified/eligible in Electrophysiology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.

As teaching hospitals, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound. The city of Norwalk is rich in cultural diversity and offers many venues for 4 season recreational activities. There are highly rated public and private schools and universities in our area. New York City is easily accessible by car or train.

Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals are now part of Nuvance Health.
