Job Description Summary

Job Description

The Payment Analyst is responsible to execute manual and batch payments for various GE businesses. Ensure compliance in performing daily activities, Pre & Post-process issue resolution for payment rejection.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute payments (manual and batch payment) according to timeliness and quality SLA’s for various GE businesses including assurance of all country required controls and documentation

  • Identify & resolve potential roadblocks in order to meet customer requirements

  • Issue resolution for payment rejection, identification of root causes, and implementation of procedures to avoid future issues

  • Ensure process controls and highlight potential defects. Participate in developing and sustaining Lean processes to ensure successful payments.

  • Partner with different stakeholders internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Perform daily activities always in accordance with legal requirements, internal regulation compliance

  • Provide guidance & training to others as needed in areas of expertise (i.e. payment requirements, currency controls, etc.)

  • Perform adhoc responsibilities as assigned by team leader

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Finance or Banking or Treasury or any related field

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or relevant fields

  • Proven expertise in Country specific payment related banking & currency controls landscape (Saudi Arabia)

  • Fluent written and oral Arabic & English.

  • Working knowledge in IT tools including Excel and Outlook

  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication

  • Compliance & controllership mindset

Desired Characteristics

Additional languages (other than English)

Knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle)

Experience in multinational working environment with cash/payment process
