Position Overview

Position Objective: To unload the conveyor belt and stage yarn in the yarn annex. Please see below.

Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):

  1. Comply with procedures found in SMS.

  2. Perform all job duties using safe work methods.

  3. Comply with Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy.

  4. Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required.

  5. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

  6. Stage full yarn cases in the proper finished goods rows.

  7. Place finished goods to be shipped in the designated section of the warehouse.

  8. Report non-conformances.

  9. Audit staging rows twice daily for correct lots.

  10. Keep yarn cases on conveyor to a manageable minimum.

  11. Report any problems to supervisor.

  12. Fill in for Shipping/Receiving Lead as needed.

  13. Notify supervisor and/or Shipping/Receiving Lead immediately whenever yarn cases are damaged or are found damaged.

  14. Unload trucks as needed such as Common Carriers with small special loads of yarns, color or resins..

  15. Assist Shipping/Receiving Lead with loading trucks as needed.

  16. Follow all applicable Lockout/Tag-out procedures.

  17. Perform audits as required.

  18. Support PRIDE goals.

  19. Help maintain batteries and Log books for them on hysters.

  20. Maintain a hyster license and driving skills.

  21. Be able to use Keytroller for hyster checks

  22. Have certain knowledge of YSF for label machines.
