Reference #: 85347-358804 General Job Summary: As a Techincial Project Lead (TPL), you will provide on-the-job working leadership to employees in the assigned areas, ensuring the smooth operation of the production/manufacturing/quality processes. Essential Job Functions: Provide training assistance to new employees on the line. Assist Supervisors/Assistant Supervisors with verifying hours and accuracy of timesheets. Check daily availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment. Work closely with the Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor & the Inspection team to maintain quality and reduce lost time and repairs. Suggest ways to simplify and improve methods and procedures wherever possible. Responsible for observing and enforcing safety practices throughout the plant to maintain a safe working environment. Responsible for company tools checked out for departmental use. Check that necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and applicable to requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requiered: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary. Ability to adhere to workplace rules. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Five years of relevant experience in a production/manufacturing/quality environment. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to read complicated blueprints. Ability to communicate clearly with others both verbally and in written form. Must be familiar with all duties and requirements of each classification assigned to the department. Must be familiar with and able to use all tools and tooling used on the assigned lines. Must be capable of performing all operations on the assigned line. Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Shop Floor environment/shared workbench or workstation. Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors  large fans). Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for long periods of time. The employee frequently is required to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and speak or listen.
