Surgery Scheduling Specialist – Neuro Spine Specialist Are you looking for a rewarding career with family-friendly hours and top-notch benefits? We’re looking for qualified Surgery Scheduling Specialist like you to join our Team! Position Highlights

  • Work location: 800 5th Avenue, Suite 500 Fort Worth, TX 76104

  • Work environment: Neuro Spine Specialists

  • Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly Monday thru Friday (8am – 5pm)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

  • Two years of related experience in healthcare environment (PREFERRED)

  • Two years of Surgery Scheduling experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

  • At least 8 months of Neurosurgery Knowledge (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

What You Will Do: THPG Surgery Scheduling Specialist schedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies ordered by the physician. Coordinates, registers and schedule appointments for patients according to availability, conducts physician pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care, ensures all required tests needed prior to surgery are done, coordinates and ensures necessary equipment is ordered, room availability/scheduled, pre-surgery medication, etc., is arranged prior to scheduled procedure, schedules any necessary follow-up appointments, communicates and answers patients’ questions regarding surgery preparation instructions, arrival/departure instructions relative to procedure, and performs other duties as assigned.
