Lead the team responsible for oversees the launch and ongoing competitiveness of products, including temperature-controlled products. This includes ensuring that products meet regulatory standards, maintain market leadership, and address customer needs in industries requiring strict regulatory compliance, such as pharmaceuticals, food, and life sciences.
In addition to managing the lifecycle of our products and services, the team will evaluate, explore, and experiment with extensions and new ideas that aim to continually evolve with customer expectations.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and regulatory knowledge to balance product innovation with compliance standards as well as demands expertise in cold-chain logistics, regulatory adherence, and team leadership.
The role is a part of the Cargo Customer Experience team within our Cargo group.
What you'll do

Product Strategy & Market Competitiveness
Develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap for temperature-controlled shipment solutions as well as other products, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer demands.
Identify market trends and customer insights to enhance product differentiation and value proposition, focusing on innovation and service quality in temperature-sensitive logistics.
Create business cases and presentations to gain stakeholder buy-in for new product initiatives.
Conduct user research, surveys, and competitor analysis to benchmark product features, pricing, and positioning within the cold-chain logistics sector as well as refine the product roadmap.
Translate customer needs and feedback into actionable product features and improvements.
New Product Launch
Lead the end-to-end product launch lifecycle from ideation through development, testing, and launch, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, operations, and regulatory affairs.
Define product launch goals, KPIs, and success metrics, and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning materials, and customer training resources.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure products comply with all relevant regulatory standards, such as those set by the FAA, TSA, IATA, EU GDP, and other global cold-chain requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting temperature-controlled logistics and adjust product strategies accordingly.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to conduct risk assessments and to manage product audits, certifications, and documentation requirements, ensuring the highest standards for product integrity and safety.
Temperature-Controlled Logistics Expertise
Leverage a deep understanding of temperature-sensitive logistics, including materials, packaging, transportation modes, and monitoring solutions, to enhance product quality and reliability.
Identify and implement temperature monitoring technologies, data loggers, and automated reporting systems to improve shipment tracking and compliance.
Engage with suppliers, packaging vendors, and logistics partners to drive innovation and optimize cold-chain processes.

Lead a team of product owners, and ensure cross-departmental collaboration, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative work environment to drive innovation, resolve product challenges, and meet project deadlines.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure product scalability and responsiveness to seasonal or market-specific demands.
Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
Define and track key performance metrics related to product success, including compliance adherence, customer satisfaction, temperature stability, and transit times.
Analyze product performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Work with data and analytics teams to assess product ROI and track long-term performance against market benchmarks.
Define and track KPIs to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
Work with data and analytics teams to evaluate product performance and gather insights for future development.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for product-related updates, gathering input from key stakeholders and relaying product status, changes, and requirements.
Prepare and deliver presentations to executive leadership on product progress, compliance issues, and strategic direction.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree in logistics is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience in product management (5+ years) with a focus on temperature-controlled logistics, cold chain, or regulated industries.
Regulatory knowledge in temperature-sensitive industries (e.g., pharma, food safety) and familiarity with global standards (e.g., GDP, FDA, IATA).
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams at all levels within the organization and external partners.
Ability to lead a team and to support critical business decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Project management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and complex timelines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong aptitude for creative problem solving and for synthesizing large volumes of detailed information into a concise presentation.
Ability to make independent decisions as well as the ability to prioritize tasks, to work well with minimal supervision, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Carefully and independently consider decisions to enable best outcomes for the cargo division and the airline.
