Provides oversight for strategic Technical Operations initiatives for execution and performance.
This job also supervises a pool of Project Managers assigned to these strategic initiatives when cross-functional or cross-divisional in nature.
What you'll do

Provides resources, facilitation needs, guidance and other support elements necessary to maintain program deliverables across major Tech Ops Initiatives
Communicates regularly regarding the program’s progress, milestones, and key decisions across all Technical Operations work groups
Interfaces with Engineering, Planning, Maintenance Control, Maintenance Programs, Quality Control, Line Maintenance, Stores and Materials Planning to develop and execute plans to manage strategic initiatives and other related program requirements
Interfaces with other Operational groups to ensure that cross-departmental issues are addressed and corrected in a timely fashion
Reviews, tracks and reports out on team scorecards and plans to Senior Management routinely
Collaborates with divisional product teams to collect and summarize key activities into informative communication packages
Keeps Operational Leadership aware of project progress, risk areas and key decisions
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Advanced degree or equivalent training/experience
8-10 years of airline Technical Operations experience in any of the major disciplines: Engineering, Production, Planning, Programs, or IT related functions
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience standing up and supporting large scale PMO efforts
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
PMP certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of cross-functional elements of Maintenance and supporting systems;
Ability to analyze and understand key program elements and dependencies
Ability to develop effective and corrective action plans
Ability to: be a team player; lead through influence
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels both verbally and written
