GENERAL FUNCTION

This position will lead the Company’s retirement savings plans (defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified plans).

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Sr. Director, Benefits on the development, implementation, and management of all retirement programs.

  • Oversee company’s defined contribution, defined benefit, deferred compensation and Health Savings Account administration and compliance.

  • Lead and execute retirement compliance requirements including annual ERISA Plan Audits, annual government disclosures/filings, Summary Plan Descriptions, internal audits, non-discrimination testing and determination of highly compensated employees. This includes responsibility for understanding and ensuring compliance in the plan administration function with all applicable federal and state laws such as ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Oversee 401(k), pension, Deferred Compensation and HSA funding. Ensure adherence to internal governance process.

  • Oversee 401(k) match calculation and execution.

  • Partner with accounting to forecast 401(k) match expense as needed.

  • Lead retirement workstream for integrations in North America for newly acquired and legacy EssilorLuxottica companies.

  • Identify and lead retirement program enhancements.

  • Manage complex and escalated retirement issues.

  • Assist Sr. Director with managing vendor performance and account management for all retirement vendors.

  • Monitor effectiveness of existing practices and recommends changes that are consistent with retirement trends and company objectives.

  • Complete special projects as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 7 years of retirement experience in progressive roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting or related discipline

  • Strong knowledge of retirement program regulations, including ERISA, DOL and IRS guidelines

  • Strong analytical/mathematical skills, ability to interpret and communicate data

  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex retirement concepts to diverse audiences

  • Strong decision-making skills

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to plan and set priorities

  • Ability to drive change and influence HRBPs and business leaders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel

  • Previous experience working with SAP HCM and ADP Global View

  • Previous experience working for a multinational company

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or retail environment

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
