JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications grows and consistently maintains the BSW Quality Alliance brand across all markets, channels and geographies. This person supports marketing, employer and internal communications with an emphasis on clinical, care management, provider and financial communications. This individual also assists the System Director of Value-based Care Marketing and Communications in developing the annual marketing plan and budgets for BSHQA. The Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications owns all brand standards, manages and trains creative resources and deploys appropriate marketing tools to effectively translate the brand for all stakeholders. He/she provides creative input on advertising, promotions and programs, and manages both internal and external creative resources to ensure brand standards are, met. He/she ensures that the brand strategy is deployed uniformly and consistently in order to reinforce brand voice and increase brand loyalty This person manages critical vendor relationships, including printing companies, signage vendors, custom content publishers and project management firms, to provide cost savings based on volume and process changes he/she identifies.

The Senior Manager of Marketing Manager develops the creative strategy using feedback from customers, service line leaders, vendors, marketing management and market research studies to guide actions. The Senior Manager works with the market research team to ensure that advertising campaigns are thoroughly tested with the appropriate target audience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Grows and consistently maintains the BSWQA brand across all markets, channels and geographies. This position is new and will begin as an independent contributor working with a small team. The person—with support from the team—will be responsible for establishing standards as well as marketing and communications processes. Content will include external employer/payer relations as well as internal communications with a focus on clinical, care management, provider and financial topics.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Manages all clinical, care management, provider and financial communications for internal and external audiences. This includes physician and patient email campaigns, internet/intranet content, speaking engagements and internal influence strategies.

Manages and trains creative resources and deploys appropriate marketing tools to effectively translate the brand across for all stakeholders. Provides essential creative input on communications, advertising, promotions and programs, and manages both internal and external creative resources to ensure brand standards are met.

Works with market research to ensure that marketing and communications campaigns are thoroughly tested with the appropriate target audience. Extends the creative strategy using feedback from customers, service line leaders, vendors, management and market research studies to guide actions

Assists in developing the annual marketing plan and budgets for BSHW and its sub-brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

  • EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 10 years experience required
