GENERAL FUNCTION

  • Accountable to design, establish and execute a global Transformation strategic plan for the zone on manufacturing (i), maintenance (ii), technology/processes (iii), automation/digitization (iv) aligned with the Group and North America zone objectives to drive efficiency and enhance the zone margin

  • Set the industrial performance ambition based on best in class industrial RX Labs and lead the operational initiative to reach those results

  • Empower a high performing team in Operational excellence and Operations departments

  • Lead and develop the culture of Operational Excellence and Industrial mindset within the Operational Excellence team and Operations, provide them support, structured governance and clear guidance

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable to design, establish and execute a global Transformation strategic plan for the zone on manufacturing (i), maintenance (ii), technology/processes (iii), automation/digitization (iv), Lean culture (v) aligned with the Group and North America zone objectives to drive efficiency and enhance the zone margin

  • Set the industrial performance ambition based on best in class industrial RX Labs and lead the operational initiative to reach those results

  • Empower a high performing team in Operational excellence and Operations departments

  • Lead and develop the culture of Operational Excellence and Industrial mindset within the Operational Excellence and Operations teams, provide them support, structured governance and clear guidance

  • Define the Lean manufacturing roadmap (including training) for the zone in partnership with the VPs to drive industrial performance efficiency and cost optimization (productivity, quality, service, consumables…)

  • Define the Center of Excellence roadmap for the zone in partnership with GLE and the VPs to standardize and optimize the cost of our processes

  • Define the Maintenance Excellence roadmap for the zone in partnership with the VPs to bring up the network capacity and optimize maintenance costs

  • Define the Automation and digitization roadmap for the zone in partnership with the VPs and the CAPEX team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level of education and professional experience: Bachelor or Master Degree in general industrial engineering, and at least 10 years of professional experience. Must have successfully hold the following positions: Plant Manager, Lean manufacturing Manager, Industrial Project Manager, ideally in the medical device industry.

  • Technical skills: Must have knowledge and understand technical discussions in all our manufacturing processes and equipment (including utilities)

  • Behavioral Skills: Recognize in the organization as a Leader, capable of driving transformation across multi-sites, driven by excellence and results, passionate with Operations topics, with a “on the floor mindset”, has demonstrated a record of success in growing people, innovative , structured and organized, analytical and synthesis skills, management of priorities, able to deal with ambiguity and constant changes, able to work/coach at all level in the organization top management

Traveling: up to 75% of the time

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
