As part of our Policy, Strategy and Leadership team, you’ll provide strategic oversight, manage operations, and develop policies for all aspects of our National Special Functions practice.

The Consulting Pricing & Estimation Desk Advisor will leverage Consulting Solutions’ pricing and estimation strategy to standardize our approach to pricing, improve win rates, and optimize margins for our largest deals. The Advisor will support Consulting campaigns as part of the sales triage process by analyzing opportunities to advise on price against insights from historical sales/delivery data and market research. The role is pivotal to successfully achieving our pricing and growth goals.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Support and influence pursuit leaders (Partners and Directors), as well as Platform leadership, in pricing Consulting’s most significant opportunities by leveraging data and analytics to provide insights and advising on optimal pricing; 

  • Work across functions with other sales enablers to understand scope, deal structure and goals of each opportunity in order to recommend the right pricing to win while optimizing internal margins;

  • Build and continually improve methodology/framework that includes deal inputs; compare with consolidated knowledge base and recommend engagement pricing;

  • Act as first-level proxy for Platform leadership, conveying expectations around benchmarking and targets to pursuit teams in order to simplify the pricing approval process;

  • Participate in post-close opportunity debriefs to gain insight into results, pricing impacts and use information gathered to enhance the Pricing Desk Analytics Database and recommendation playbooks; 

  • Guide pursuit teams on how best to leverage tools across the engagement lifecycle to be successful in estimation and pricing;

  • Team with other P&E functions (Estimation, Digital Asset Pricing) to best and most appropriately architect each deal by pulling on all available levers; and,

  • Align closely with the other Pricing Desk team members to share best practices and improve the function as it grows

The salary range for this position is: $89,000 - $315,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
