NEW GENERATION MECHANICAL Plumbing Sales / Project Manager in Dallas, Texas

New Generation Mechanical is looking for a great addition to our team who has a background in both Plumbing Sales and Project Management in the commercial construction sector.

Position Summary:

In this position you will be responsible to identify and establish new commercial Plumbing construction business and then to plan, direct, coordinate and budget activities associated with construction projects such that the company's anticipated profit goals are met or exceeded.

Key responsibilities:

  • Business Development / Sales -Ascertain market opportunities in the DFW area marketplace / obtain and develop customer referrals / track and follow-up on all leads / Develop good relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, and other contacts to facility project activities and sell future work.
  • Project Management -Visit jobsites, prepare proposals and estimates, and manage work from start thru to completion / Prepare and Execute formal subcontracts to subs, purchase materials and equipment, set up budgets, and coordinate labor for all projects / Prepare monthly and final billing to ensure positive cash position throughout the project / Project cost to complete on assigned projects and advise management of any abnormalities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Sales / Network -Proven success in field sales commercial Plumbing construction markets
  • Mechanical Knowledge-Thorough working knowledge of the design and construction of mechanical systems / mechanical trades- including ability to read and understand construction plans and specs
  • Self Starter-Ability to work independently, manage time well, and complete and priorities daily activities according to work schedule
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hardware / Software Knowledge-including use of required computers, software, equipment, materials, and supplies

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Possess valid driver's license
