Description Robert Half is working with a prominent Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company to find a detail-oriented Medical Payment Poster to join their growing team. Your responsibilities

Post payments based on explanation of benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies, patients and government agencies- Identify correct line item charge to post patient payments

Posts account adjustments quickly while maintaining data integrity Requirements - Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Previous experience with an electronic medical record system preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Patient Balance

  • HIPPA compliance system implementation experience highly valued

  • CPT-4 experience preferred

  • Experience with CPT 4

  • ICD CPT experience desired

  • Hands-on experience with CPT Codes

  • Good understanding of Remittance Advice

  • Adeptness in Patient Billing

  • Deep understanding of ICDM CPT

  • Patient Appointments experience highly desired

  • Expertise in Medical Payment Poster

  • Prior experience with CPT Hcpcs Codes

  • General familiarity with explanation of benefits (EOB's)

  • Background working with Electronic Remittance

  • Import Export experience highly preferred

  • Foundational knowledge in ICD-10

  • Practical knowledge of EOB

  • Earlier work involving Remittance

  • Previous experience working with HIPAA compliance patient privacy rules

  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronic medical records

  • Strong familiarity with outpatient coding

  • ICD-9 CPT-4 experience required

  • Foundational knowledge in patient accounting

  • Comprehension of HIPAA-Regulated

  • Minimum of 1 year payment posting or medical billing experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
