SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition the individual is responsible for leading sourcing and talent branding initiatives. The individual collaborates with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition and operational leaders in the development and execution of the Methodist Health System Talent Brand strategy. Partners with system wide stakeholder’s on all opportunities relating to elevating our talent brand and optimizing the talent acquisition lifecycle.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing the design, development and implementation of the talent brand strategies to source and engage with prospective talent. Lead a team of sourcing professionals to attract, engage and promote talent that matches the strategic business objectives of the organization. Partner with Recruiting leadership and other stakeholders to create sourcing strategies that employ focus on diversity, alignment with market intelligence, and data analytics.

  • Designs and executes on talent branding strategies to identify, attract, evaluate and hire passionate and qualified healthcare candidates. Leverages the strength of the Methodist leadership team and all team members to develop talent brand ambassadors in the communities that we operate in.

  • Oversees effective and efficient communication, delivery, strategic planning and administration of all related programs that support talent sourcing.

  • Optimizes the utilization of existing technologies, relationships and branding engagements to obtain the highest return on investment.

  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform and drive decisions and recommendations; assesses the use of metrics within the various functions of Benefits to determine what is required to monitor program impact and efficiency.

  • Efficiently and effectively analyze and evaluate recruitment performance as it relates to sourcing of candidates and adapts the strategy to maximize returns on investment.

  • Manages vendor relationships for any brand related contracts.

  • Partners with leaders across the system to seek their input recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies.

  • Elevates partnership with community organization and educational institutions to build talent brand awareness and leverages the relationships to identify out of the box strategies to source talent.

  • Leads people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Provides an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts.

  • Serves as a role model by demonstrating commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in talent acquisition sourcing performance.

  • Exceeds departmental and organizational goals and customer expectations. Makes decisions that produce high-quality results by applying knowledge, analyzing problems, and calculating risks. Delivers high-quality services and is committed to continuous improvement.

  • Owns and manages special projects as assigned by Director of Talent Acquisition or other People & Culture leaders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or other related fields.

  • Scrum Certification preferred.

Previous Work Experience

  • 5 or more years of Recruitment, Sourcing, Branding or general Human Resources experience.

  • 2 years of management and/or leadership experience and increasing responsibility within the talent acquisition function.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proven branding experience and creative development skills and abilities.

Experience working with digital and print marketing vendors to optimize advertising spend with the highest return of investment.

Curious and willing to continuously explore alternative strategies to enhance talent brand strategies.

Proven analytical and data driven capabilities to continuously assess and optimize the talent brand performance as compared to our peers and market.

Relationship focused with the ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships with all levels of employees.

Outstanding critical thinking, combined with both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, while also deploying reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems in a cost effective manner.

Flexible and adaptable to the ever changing business needs.

Ability to professionally and effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with key internal consumers and to articulate the employee value proposition to prospective candidates.

Demonstrates accountability for own and team actions.

Demonstrates initiative, is a self-starter, works independently within time frames delegated.

Proactive to foresee issues and opportunities as they arise and use appropriate problem solving analysis, develop recommendations and take appropriate action in problem resolution.
