System One IT Systems Support Engineer in Dallas, Texas

* Contract position through the end of the year; contract can be extended; C2H is possible.

IT Systems Support Engineer :

  • Monitor the operations of servers, databases, web servers / application servers, and applications to ensure their optimal performance

  • Monitor performance capacity and make recommendations for improvements

  • Manage incidents and coordinate resolution efforts

  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

    Required Technical Skills and Experience :

  • Experience with system administration of Linux and Windows servers

  • Experience with Apache Tomcat web server and servlet container, with a general knowledge of Java (not developer level)

  • Experience with supporting Oracle database operations and Informatica ETL applications

  • Experience with OpenShift, a container application platform, for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications

  • Experience supporting Axiom data management platform will be a plus
