TEKsystems Infrastructure Solutions Architect in Dallas, Texas

Must work W2

Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Location: Dallas, TX

Infrastructure Solutions Architects will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions for our client. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of technologies, including networking, Linux, Windows, Middleware, and Active Directory.

The job duties will include:

  • Working with the client to understand the business requirements

  • Translating the business requirements into technical requirements

  • Identifying and working with subject matter experts to design a solution that meets the business requirements

  • Creating high-level and low-level designs using Visio and Adobe

  • Understanding and following architecture standards

  • Identifying and addressing any non-standard products

  • Working closely with the Chief Engineer and Capacity Planner to determine the hosting location and size of the solution

  • Identifying and managing risks, assumptions, and key decisions that could impact the design

  • Communicating status and updates to the Technology Project Manager

  • Working with Supply Chain Management to obtain quotes for hardware

  • Obtaining signoff from stakeholders on the design and cost

  • Maintaining and updating the design deliverables in the project repository
