This position is located in Dallas, TX and is required to be onsite.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic budgetary guidance to organizational leaders

  • Identify financial inefficiencies and recommend solutions

  • Manage workflows and processes to mitigate financial strain

  • Self-directed discretionary financial decisions aligned with approved branch budget

  • Bill Pay and account management

  • Office Administration

  • Advisor Support

  • Special Events & Projects

  • Partner with COO on monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting

  • Main conduit for complex financial operations

  • Self-directed discretionary financial decisions aligned with approved branch budgets

  • Effectively communicate sensitive financial information to key organizational partners

Understanding of:

  • Branch Manager Spending Accounts

  • Local AMA Fund

  • Company rules & guidelines

  • SPEN

  • Budget Worksheets

  • JEAP Analysis

  • Monthly budgetary analysis and reporting

The base salary range for this position is $46,000-$67,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years in Finance roles - Business Analyst/ Financial services industry experience

  • Executive-level communication

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Cross-functional collaboration

  • Problem solving

  • Detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
