BAE Systems Electronic Manufacturing Supervisor in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Assembly supervisor oversees the day-to-day assembly operations of production line that assembles electronic components, subassemblies and systems, create work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Assembly supervisor resolves production problems and answers workers questions about process, methods or equipment. Delivers training for new process or equipment and onboard new employees. Additionally, Assembly Supervisor conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications. Working team member that supervises and coordinates the work of others on a team environment. Suggests improvements to process and is a knowledge resource for team member.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Associate Degree or 5 years supervisory experience or equivalent experience.

  • Attention to detail in the process of assembly and test of product.

  • Responsible of assuring compliance to quality requirements including reading reports assuring calibration of tools, organizing and planning product flow, work coordination with cell leads.

  • Ability to use computers including data input, saving records, spreadsheet manipulation, reading and interpreting documents.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 certifications are required.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
