Job Description:

As a member of the Prospect Management and Research team, the Development Associate supports the major gift fundraisers in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations in their efforts to raise philanthropic dollars for the advancement of UT Dallas. This position will be an integral player in driving prospect management and growing the major gift prospect pool. The Development Associate will produce analyses and briefings for development-related meetings, trips, and events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus one to three years of experience in prospect research or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher. One to three years of successful development or prospect research experience in a non-profit or institution of higher education. Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge. Experience with ResearchPoint or other online prospect research tools. Understanding of the principals of fundraising and philanthropy.
