Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee our financial activities, ensuring the integrity of our financial data, and play a significant role in financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and compliance. This role will be based in Dallas, Texas, and will involve collaborating closely with various departments to provide financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Present financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

• Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.

• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

• Forecast financial results based on current trends and future projections.

• Assist in developing strategic plans by providing financial insights and recommendations.

• Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Implement improvements to internal controls and processes as needed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead finance business transformation by supporting ERP implementation team.

• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, such as investment proposals, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and operational changes.

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance team. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Month End Close operations

• Experience in Full Cycle Accounting

• Proficiency in MS Great Plains Accounting and Microsoft Excel

• Proven experience in performing Reconciliations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on staff development and team building

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Solid decision-making skills along with an understanding of business strategies and their implications.
