The Hyatt Regency Dallas is looking for an experienced Business Travel Sales Manager to join our highly skilled and recognized Sales team. Hyatt Regency Dallas is located downtown next to the iconic Reunion Tower. The idealBusiness Travel Sales Manager is a business travel/leisure travel sales person who has demonstrated through performance a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions and the hotel/business travel industry. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale groups. Duties include managing current accounts, presentations, ensure proper solicitation of all transient markets, and include travel up to 15% of the time.

Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilization of Hyatt technology systems and coordination of customer service requirements with hotel operations staff as appropriate. The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, will also participate and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings. The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff and with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

Qualifications:

· Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· A minimum of 2-3 years of full service hotel experience in Business Transient Sales

· Successful experience with business development in hotels

· Experience working with CVB teams and partner hotels

· Experience working with complex sales agreements

· Selling a destination as well as a property

· Must have selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training

· Experience in working with highly experienced Global Sales Representatives
