Description

As an AMER Partner Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to work directly with some of our largest and fastest growing partners. You will be the technical voice for our partners and their customers, helping reduce risk and enable innovation through architectural reviews, speaking engagements, and hands-on technical workshops. This role requires a passion for technology, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Key job responsibilities

  • Ensure partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform

  • Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud

  • Be an AWS evangelist and educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS

  • Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and proof of concepts

  • Build relationships with senior technical individuals internally and externally to enable them to be cloud advocates

  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community

A day in the life

In this role, you will partner closely with AWS sales, professional services, and engineering teams to help our partners design, build, and migrate applications, software, and services. You will lead architectural discussions and design exercises, ensuring our partners' solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with AWS best practices. As an AWS evangelist, you will educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and contribute to the creation of AWS content such as whitepapers, blogs, and proofs-of-concept. You will also build relationships with senior technical individuals both internally and externally to enable them to become cloud advocates.

The AMER Partner Solutions Architect team is responsible for scaling the discovery, development, and delivery of high-quality capabilities for AWS Customers with AWS Partners. Our vision is to be the best place to build cloud-enabled businesses. We work closely with a wide range of partners, from startups to enterprises, helping them leverage the power of the AWS to solve their customers' most pressing business challenges. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our partners' cloud journeys and drive the adoption of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C+- Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution

  • Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
