Description We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will provide business operations support to a department and/or manager, handle administrative duties, and maintain accurate records. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to a department and/or manager, including scheduling appointments and arranging meetings and conferences
• Handle inbound and outbound mail, including opening, sorting, prioritizing, and coordinating services
• Maintain accurate records and establish filing systems
• Type, format, and produce documents such as proposals, presentations, correspondence, and standard reports
• Conduct research and update databases as needed
• Prepare collateral materials for mass mailings as required
• Complete expense reports and handle reconciliation of receipts
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues, requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures
• Use Microsoft Office Suite to perform tasks and manage information
• Apply basic analytical skills to solve problems in standard situations. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
• Ability to schedule appointments and meetings efficiently.
• Experience in conducting research and providing analysis.
• Familiarity with maintaining and updating databases.
• Skilled in creating and delivering presentations.
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial reconciliations.
• Experience in managing correspondence professionally.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and managing travel receipts.
• Knowledge in conducting conference calls.
• Ability to resolve issues and manage complaints effectively.
• Understanding of company policy and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with file system management.
• Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
• Experience in record keeping.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to prepare and manage expense reports.
