Amentum Computer Based Training (CBT) Specialist/Instructor in Daleville, Alabama

We are pipelining candidates for a future role. Contingent upon Contract Award

Amentum is seeking a Computer Based Training (CBT) Specialist/Instructor. Potential locations could include: Alabama, Arizona, Hawaii, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, Germany, and potential additional CONUS locations.

The Computer Based Training Specialist will work with courseware production team to design, develop, revise and validate interactive computer based courseware. The specialist will use specialized computer software and/or hardware to develop, integrate and edit instructional text, audio, graphics, animation and video for interactive presentations. The selected candidate will use appropriate programming/branching logic and screen layout and remediation/feedback techniques. The CBT Specialist will implement quality control and review and revision procedures throughout the courseware development process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. (Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Secret Clearance.)

  • Education/Experience: AA/AS and/or 2-4 years of related experience supporting military operations

  • Basic knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs

  • Basic knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter

  • Ability to support night or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements

  • Ability to support occasional travel (less than 10% anticipated)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Computer Based Training (CBT) Specialist/Instructor with the U.S. Army.
