Amentum Program Analyst in Dahlgren, Virginia

Amentum is seeking a Program Analyst to join our engineering team in Dahlgren, VA.

Program Analyst Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing program analyst support for Navy programs.

  • Supporting programmatic meetings, manage program action items, support tracking of program documentation changes.

  • Interfacing with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support and achievement of customer goals.

  • Interacting with and advising customers by applying specific program knowledge and/or subject matter expertise in the execution of routine and non-routine tasks.

  • Interacting and providing technical assessment to customers, through the application of specific program knowledge and subject matter expertise, in the execution of program management tasks.

  • Interfacing with other professionals to generate program documentation such as plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material.

  • Analyzing and tracking schedules and deliverables, conduct research into specific areas, prepare findings and report findings to the customer.

  • Creating and maintaining master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal).

  • Reviewing, analyzing, providing comments, and providing assessments of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific area and prepare findings.

  • Performing all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrating a technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports; OR, three (3) years of specialized experience in: financial planning, budgeting and execution of project funds for allocation purposes

  • Integrated management schedule (IMS) development and tracking for planning and budgeting

  • Coordination of task planning, schedule development and task execution for DoD and Navy programs and projects.

  • Demonstrating both a comprehensive knowledge of software applications and best business practices along with a high degree of skill in applying software functions necessary to prepare complex and detailed documents utilizing the Microsoft (MS) Office suite of products.

  • Experience in processing complex and lengthy technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns, participating in Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program technical meetings, and providing status and inputs to technical reports, white papers and meetings.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
