On the job training provided.

40 hours with occasional overtime.

Perform all functions necessary to produce precast product efficiently and safely as part of a team. Work with various different employees in a team environment to accomplish required tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Safely strip forms with an overhead crane.

  • Safely clean forms with hand tools.

  • Read and understand shop drawings.

  • Prepare and install rebar or reinforcing wire.

  • Pour and finish concrete in forms according to quality control standards.

  • Ensuring tools and work areas are maintain and clear of hazards during the day and at the end of each shift.

  • Material movement such as carrying and replacing parts.

  • Finish product in an attractive manner free of cracks and imperfections.

  • Communicate with Quality Control for pre-pour and post-pour checks.

  • Stop work and report if any unsafe acts or conditions exist.

  • Other related duties as required.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

    Physical Requirements

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 35-50 lbs.

  • Manual dexterity and the ability to work in an industrial plant environment.

  • Physically capable of heavy concrete construction for a sustained period of 8-10 hours per day.

  • Indoor and outdoor work, Monday through Friday, with some overtime work required including some Saturdays.

  • Required to wear a hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves, and safety glasses while working in our plant and/or in the yard.

  • Some manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
