**OhioMeansJobs Summit County is partnering with a local manufacturer seeking an *Accounting Manager.


Job Summary: Manages accounting functions and preparation of reports/statistics detailing financial results. Responsible for the formulation, development and execution of financial policies, plans, procedure and controls. Performs monthly closing operations including preparation analysis of financial statements. Establishes and maintains accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.

Essential Functions: Prepares daily and monthly journal entries of miscellaneous, reoccurring and closing nature, including analysis to generate said journal entries. Prepares monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts and adjust general ledger accordingly. Prepares monthly financial statements and reports as required by the President. Maintains reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to, income, receivables and cash accounts. Continual documented improvement in quality of process as it relates to information management, including assisting in resolution of questions related to the application of the computer system. Research and/or respond to request for information from internal or external sources. Assist managers in carrying out operations in a fiscally responsible manner. Maintain quality business relationships with banks, auditors, customers and vendors.
