Description/Job Summary

Blackstone Consulting, Inc is HIRING for FULL TIME LINE COOKS our clients Corporate Caffe!

Title: Line Cook PM Shift ( Monday to Thursday, 12:30pm-9pm)

PAY RATE: $24.75/hr plus $18/day meal voucher!

Location: Cupertino, CA

Work onsite at a state-of-the-art Corporate Caff , creating quality meals from scratch with fresh ingredients. You'll be able to work with the highest-grade kitchen appliances and have creative freedom to develop menus. You will also receive daily meal vouchers!

You'll be able to expand your culinary world by working next to some of Cupertino's best Chefs. Learning how to prep for a varity of cuisine.

As a Line Cook you are responsible for the daily preparation and cooking of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen. This position is responsible for other duties in the areas of food and final plate presentation including plating and garnishing of cooked items.

Requirements:

Holder of valid and current Food Handler Certification

Description/Day-to-Day

Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures

Being able to multi-task, work quickly, and effectively within a team

Communicates clearly, listens attentively to staff, peers, managers, and guests

Flexibility and adaptability to work calmly and effectively under stress

You should have an approved Food Handler's Card and non-slip shoes prior to first day of work

Extraordinarily Service Oriented - show high level of customer service is positively mandatory...We hire for attitude, train for skill.

Dynamic and agile - highly organized, ability to switch between locations and job duties

Key Qualifications

1-4 years high volume food service - preferably larger, innovative corporate programs

May also be food and beverage experience in a full-service hotel, resort, or multi-restaurant chain

You must be approachable with a service orientated mentality

We are also looking for people with strong attention to detail and well organized.

Demonstrated excellent time management skills

You must be approachable with a service orientated mentality skills, displayed in your experience in food, hospitality, and/or other service industries.

Communication skills are essential for this role in order to champion a healthy team environment and to interact with guests, leaders, vendors and employees.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Basic level knowledge of health and safety rules

Extraordinarily Service Oriented - a demonstrable high level of customer service is mandatory

Dynamic and agile - highly organized, ability to switch between locations and job duties

Work Conditions:

You will spend time sitting, standing and walking throughout our Caff s.

We need to lift up to 50 pounds in the Caff
