Key Qualifications

  • Seasoned technical program management in data analytics, BIG data engineering, ETL pipeline with data infrastructure experience familiar working with SRE and engineering teams.

  • Technical solid proficiency - Bonus points for past programming, big data, Spark/Scala, or analytics experience, including creating requirements/specifications.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

  • Naturally accountable and responsible. Critical tracts - Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization

  • Strong facilitation skills (Drive complex projects, quarterly and roadmap planning, facilitate requirements sessions, design meetings, progress, and status meetings)

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and ability to see around the corners.

  • Domain Expertise

  • Data Engineering Background - experience working on projects with a data engineering focus

  • Big Data Technologies and Cloud Services—Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

  • Technical Expertise- Deep technical understanding is necessary for identifying cross-project dependencies.

  • Cross-Functional Project Management-Experience is managing large-scale, cross-functional projects through to completion.

  • Basic Project Management Proficiencies-Essential skills in taking meeting notes, following up on action items, providing status updates, and escalating issues as needed.

  • Proactivity and Risk Management: Skilled in proactive follow-ups with meeting actions and effective risk mitigation.

  • Self-motivation and Adaptability: A self-starter who is result-oriented, with the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments.
