We are hiring a creative, analytical and results-oriented Sr. Product Marketing Manager to drive growth of podcasts on Amazon Music. You will help build and launch new product marketing initiatives supporting growing new podcasts listeners and engagement of our existing listeners, working cross-functionally across Amazon teams, influencing and leading partners to think big, invent and simplify, and deliver on project roadmaps.

A successful candidate for this role will be an independent, creative problem-solver with great business acumen, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing deadlines. You will have strong product marketing, program management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently under time constraints to deliver results. This individual will partner with teams across Amazon Music to drive acquisition and engagement strategies to increase podcast listeners growth. This role will lead the Podcast Product Marketing strategy, reporting to senior leadership on progress and upcoming projects, and champion best practices across global teams. You should be well versed in customer behavior, business drivers, and conceive new initiatives to improve KPIs.

Key job responsibilities

• Ideate, manage, and execute marketing strategy to drive Acquisition, Adoption, and Engagement of our Podcast listeners, globally.

• Lead complex, cross-functional product marketing go-to-market initiatives for product features.

• Partner closely with product teams to influence product roadmap and features that drive podcast acquisition, adoption and retention

• Partner closely with content and content marketing teams to drive strategy around the intersection of premium content marketing and traditional growth marketing

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform product messaging and positioning to drive listener growth, sharing insights and next steps with leadership.

• Identify and pursue cross-category opportunities, partnering with teams across Amazon

• Play a lead role in identifying ROI and metrics for new Marketing strategies, partnering with BI, Product and Finance orgs to identify trade-offs and recommendations.

• Leverage new or emerging trends to identify new customer audiences to podcast listener growth

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

  • Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, including customer lifetime value, acquisition, early life habit formation

  • Ability to earn trust with colleagues, foster collaboration, and influence without authority to drive projects to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

  • MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
