Sony Pictures Entertainment Sales Coordinator in Culver City, California

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator who will assist the Vice President and partner with the entire Domestic Sales Team to drive value by leading and distributing all Sony Releases. This role aligns with a high-performing sales team that is responsible for the management and execution of film distribution.The ideal candidate must be able to undergo training and/or may have a basic understanding of the theatrical sales and distribution business with the ability to strategize on all deals to increase the length of run, and gross potential throughout the theatrical release’s lifecycle. In addition, the coordinator will cultivate and maintain relationships with exhibitors on assigned accounts.

Responsibilities• Be trained in all aspects of Theatrical Distribution.

• General interest and/or knowledge in the entertainment industry.

• Writing and ability to communicate clearly.

• Become proficient in all systems; DEX, ComScore, DICER, etc.• Assist the sales team in delivering opening week quotas required from the division. Including location counts, multiple prints, various formats (IMAX, PLF, 3D, 4D, etc.), and minimum show schedules and playtime requirements.• Take ownership of all sales-related duties within the assigned sales area. Including but not limited to, obtaining playdates, negotiating terms, maintaining weekly holdovers, carrying out and running weekly show scheduling policy.• Develop and maintain exhibitor, interdepartmental, and account relations.• Work with finance to rectify any box office or account discrepancies and delinquencies.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure

• Experience with EXCEL, WORD, and OUTLOOK
