Cullowhee, Franklin, telehealth and outreach in the 8 western NC counties

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience

Hours:

30-40 hours per week, flexible around patient/provider needs

Organization Description:

Vecinos is a non-profit, 501(c)3 Free Clinic that provides bilingual integrated primary and behavioral health care, mobile clinic services, health education, and case management to uninsured, low-income adults in the far-western NC counties.

Mission

: Our mission is to provide culturally-appropriate health and wellness services for the uninsured Latinx community.

Purpose:

The Behavioral Health Provider II is fully licensed and works under direct supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, providing behavioral health therapy to patients and collaborating to support all behavioral health services within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical

Perform behavioral health screenings and assessments

Develop and implement person-centered plans and appropriate documentation in EHR

Incorporation of advanced trainings into therapy sessions, such as Grief/Loss, LCAS, EMDR

Maintain caseload and provide individual and group therapy services

Provide behavioral health services as needed in all Vecinos service areas (clinic setting, mobile clinic, community outreach and telehealth)
