Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Human Resources Supervisor.

What you’ll do:

Job summary

  • The position will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with all activities related to human resources to support the Cuautitlan Plant. Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations (union, salary and exempts), job evaluation tracking thru Talent Hub, compensation management, organization development, training, services, wellness and special projects.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.

  • Ensures compliance with the requirements by ISO, CTPAT, OpA, Fresh Eyes Audits, Lean initiatives, 5's, Mexican Labor.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the deployment of the Eaton culture, policies, vision, goals, values, ethics, initiatives and leadership model to ensure a great workplace environment.

  • Administers annual employee survey cycle to ensure smooth implementation.

  • Supports Corporate functions during action planning phase post survey through effective feedback sessions.

  • Provide training, coaching and development for all personnel.

  • Coordinate and assure induction for new employees, technical training, training for career development and certification processes for hourly personnel.

  • Responsible for the Recruiting and Selection efforts.

  • Execute the hiring plan according to the requirements of quantity, time, shift and abilities that the departments require

  • Responsible for Training, Recruiting and OD metrics that will reflect in business results.

  • Responsible of OD, Training and Recruiting sections in Eaton Programs and initiatives such as HR Directives, EBE, ELS.

  • Coordinates and ensures monthly programs and Plant activities, such as recognitions, anniversaries, monthly.

  • meetings, roundtables, etc., to be carried out timely. Coordinates sports and social Plant activities.

  • Support the Human Resources manager in the establishment of the Eaton culture (Employee survey / HR Operating Review, leadership model, wellness committee etc.)

  • To contribute with Eaton Initiatives : MESH, I&D, OpA

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • College degree in administration, business, psychology or similar.

Years and area of experience required

  • 5 – 7 years experience in HR area

Technical knowledge

  • Organizational assessment and organizational diagnosis skills

  • Ability in recruitment and selection.

  • Training knowledge

  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes

  • Ability to lead and support cross-functional process improvement teams

Soft skills

  • Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.

  • Strong leadership skills must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
