MISSIONS:

  • Strongly support the Category Manager in implementing the sourcing strategy across his perimeter of responsibility and moving sourcing control from Local to Regional

  • Be the main Regional sourcing reference for the category for the internal customers like Global Lens Engineering, Mass Production plants, RX Labs and various entities across EMEA operations

  • Support consolidation of purchases across the region to drive standardization, simplification and savings

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Mapping category spend across the region and spend analysis

  • Manage Negotiations and launch regional RFI / RFP / RFQ across the category following a TCO approach

  • Suppliers management on consolidated suppliers & new supplier scouting

  • Sourcing risk evaluation and monitoring

  • Promote/support second source projects

  • Support local sites sourcing issues resolution / resolve suppliers conflicts / manage escalations (e.g. pricing/service/compliance)

  • Prepare sourcing reports and presentations for stakeholders/management

  • Support in P2P process topics, ensuring compliance, troubleshooting issues

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Educational Background in Master Level Degree (preference: Business, Management, Engineering)

  • At least 5 years experience in sourcing within a structured and international company, with a Business/Engineering University Degree

  • Consolidated knowledge of sourcing/purchasing practices and procedures

• Strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills

• Strong experience in managing RfQ, RfP, negotiations, contracts, etc

• Experience in global organizations, dealing also with international suppliers and stakeholders

• Strong and motivated team player, excellent communication skills

• SAP & Ariba experience is a plus

• French and/or Italian is a plus
