Maintenance Mechanic - Morning Shift

Shift & Pay

Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm or Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm - $25-$30

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance duties for the entire plant and the mobile fleet, as well as performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for various equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance duties for the entire plant and mobile fleet

  • Change drives and troubleshoot 3-phase motors

  • Replace conveyors and perform preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Responsible for metal fabrication, cutting, and welding as needed

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues

  • Perform maintenance on mobile vehicles

  • Work with conveyors, shakers, and screening machines

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience, ideally in a quarry, concrete plant, or recycling plant

  • Experience with conveyors, shakers, and screening machines

  • Welding and fabricating experience

  • Electrical troubleshooting experience, including 3-phase motors

  • Experience with high-speed automation and PLC troubleshooting

  • Experience with conveyors, feeders, mills, kilns, and hydraulics is helpful but not required
