Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate : $30-37/Hour

Location : Crown Point, IN

Shift : 1st shift available

An establish production company located in Crown Point, IN is seeking multiple maintenance mechanics to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

Previous experience/schooling in industrial maintenance and production machinery maintenance is required.

Description:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting - gearboxes, hydraulics, pumps

  • Welding/Fabrication

  • Millwright skills

  • Mechanical power transmission

  • Hydraulic power transmission

  • Basic pneumatic principles

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Utilizing cutting torch and plasma cutter

Qualifications:

  • Industrial fabrication experience

  • Must have experience with the use of basic shop equipment (i.e. drill press, stationary band saw, pedestal grinder, etc.

  • Basic knowledge of rotary valves and dust collector systems

  • Understanding of basic rigging principles and equipment

  • Must have basic mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
