This position is the leader of the IT department and responsible for organization-wide systems and information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and implement IT policy and best practices for the organization.
  2. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  3. Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and procedures.
  4. Conduct routine evaluations of network to ensure the security of data, network access, disaster recovery and backup systems.
  5. Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
  6. Manage 3^rd^ party vendors or service providers.
  7. Oversee implementation of software solutions and monitor and control IT projects.
  8. Accountable for user desktop support experience. KPI's include timeliness, effectiveness and overall improvement in technology solutions for individual users.
  9. Create workshops and training programs for staff.
  10. Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
  11. Manage annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
