POSITION SUMMARY The Foundation & Community Relations Intern collaborates closely with the Director of Foundation & Community Relations, department stakeholders, local community members, and businesses to elevate awareness of CRMC programs and services. Key responsibilities include assisting in the coordination and execution of community and employee events, recruiting volunteers, identifying potential local partners, and supporting various fundraising and community relations activities daily. Additionally, the intern contributes to enhancing CRMC's reputation within the community and ensuring exceptional patient experiences through participation in meetings, networking events, community engagement, and proactive outreach efforts. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Must be a high-school graduate and align with one these scenarios at the time of application. Be registered with a post-secondary institution or enrolled for fall semester (minimum of part-time), with emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Public Relations. Be a graduate of a post-secondary institution with emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Public Relations and begin the internship within two weeks of their graduation date. Some experience in an office environment preferred License/Certificates: Valid Driver's License Special Skills and Aptitudes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment. Solid organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in tracking progress, deadlines, and priorities for CRMC's summer programs. Help coordinate and execute community and internal events. To include but not limited to: - Lunch Bunch - Driving for Hospice - Fourth of July parade - Summer picnic - CRMC Championship - Kaleidoscope Solicit auction and other donations, pick up items, prepare for events, and thank donors. Assist in recruiting, managing, and recognizing event volunteers. Assist in tracking progress, deadlines, and priorities for CRMC's summer programs. Assist with data entry of donations, thank you letters and donor recognition. Communicate effectively and gives updates on anticipated completion of tasks. Collaborate with Marketing & Public Relations on marketing plans and execution for community and employee events. Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as requested.
