Overview:

The Millwright works under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor to make sure equipment in their assigned area is kept in top running condition.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing maintenance services through the refinery.

  • Performs mechanical trouble shooting and repairs.

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance services, including troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, rigging, metal fabrication and repairs (welding/burning), pipe installation and repairs, and building crafts work.

  • Perform cleaning and lubrication on mechanical equipment.

  • Work with other refinery maintenance and operations personnel to handle normal everyday problems.

  • Will be assigned to one of the maintenance groups, which include: refinery maintenance, warehouse, pipe/metal, building crafts, garage and raw sugar maintenance.

  • Reliable and Predictable In-Person Attendance

  • Able to work overtime on a daily and weekly basis

    Job Requirements

  • Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts and weekends on a regular basis

  • Have a high regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others.

  • Ability to perform tasks wearing required PPE such as protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a unionized environment.

    Education and/or Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or service organization.

    Hourly Rate:

  • $37.97
