Southern Commercial Diesel LLC Diesel Technician in Crestview, Florida

CW Diesel is looking for to hire a Diesel Repair Technician now. 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Monday - Friday On call 1 week per month Flat rate pay scale starting at $30-45 $1000 sign on bonus with a year contract paid out half at sign on; half at six month mark

Responsibilities:

Each day will offer a slightly different daily routine, but you will use the same basic skills in the end. Required to go out on road calls in a specialized service truck, or you may solely work in a shop environment. Work on a wide range of diesel engines, drive train systems, steering and suspensions systems, braking systems and electrical and electronic systems in buses, trucks, cars, and more, or you may specialize in one or more types of systems. Must have a keen eye for detail and a knack for following a service manual and diagnostic troubleshooting procedures. Inspect, maintain and repair diesel engines of various manufacture, age and condition. This includes tractor trailers, diesel engines and associated systems in construction equipment and a myriad of others vehicles and equipment. Use diagnostic computer software to aid you in servicing these engines.

Additionally:

2023 F250 Ford service truck with fuel card. Cell phone is also provided to the technician if they choose to work in a service truck. Calendar is provided for the year for the on call schedule, so the employee can plan time off etc.

Auto-car Warranty Training needs to be completed within 6 months of hiring or technician will forfeit the sign on bonus. One week a month of on-call service is mandatory with $100 extra when completing the on call week.
