CNC Programmer
Responsibilities:
Programming and Setup: Develop CNC programs based on engineering blueprints,
specifications, and job orders. Set up and configure CNC machines including tool
selection, zero point calibration, and workpiece clamping.
Tool Selection and Optimization: Choose appropriate cutting tools and optimize
toolpaths to ensure efficient and precise machining operations.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs and machine errors. Identify
and resolve issues related to toolpath efficiency, tool wear, or machine malfunctions to
minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Skills
? Programming (2 years of experience is required)
? Ability to read prints and understand tolerancing
? Inspection equipment
? Wire EDM experience a plus
