Description

Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Solution Architect for its Cranston, RI location.Duties: Analyze user requirements to review the Bank’s systems capabilities and improve existing systems, with the goal of implementing IT solutions that align with architectural decisions across the business. Review existing architectural designs to document application issues that arise in the architecture and recommend technical improvements. Design and develop custom large-scale, web-based IT solutions using Java and Pega PRPC frameworks that integrate with enterprise and architecture systems using SOAP and HTTP Services to deliver new products and services. Collaborate with various business lines, support staff, and technology areas to design technical structure based on existing Pega PRPC standards and processes that meets the strategic and integrative requirements of the business. Deploy these IT solutions through WebSphere, UNIX, and AIX; mobile technologies; database connectivity using Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL; IIS configuration; workflow integration through Pega PRPC; and MQ Series connectivity, ensuring technical compatibility of these IT solutions across business units. Responsibility for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing technical infrastructure, operation systems, and network issues.

Qualifications

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field followed by five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience in the position offered or closely related position. Full term of experience must include supporting full SDLC including business requirements analysis, technical design, preparation of work flows, software development, test support and product implementation; utilizing WebSphere, UNIX, and AIX software to deploy and run applications; utilizing Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL databases to handle application data, database queries and optimization; programming in Java, J2EE, XML, EJB, JavaScript, and Pega PRPC with Smart Dispute Framework to design, develop, and construct the applications; preparing application solution design and high level class structure using Pega PRPC; implementing business decision using Decision tables, Decision Maps, Decision Trees, Declarative and service rules; and designing and developing application user interfaces by creating Harness, Section, Portal, and UI rules.
