SAIC Project Engineer in CRANE, Indiana

Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Engineer with a background in batteries, printed circuit boards, and critical electronics to support the US Navy in Crane, IN .

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for management of task orders for NCWC Crane Division, in accordance with contract requirements for technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support proposals and be able to support significant capture efforts and proposals.

  • Primary customer interface for technical matters, information sharing, and basic problem resolution.

  • Conduct employee performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years or more of related experience. Master’s and 3 years of experience.

  • Must have experience in managing DoD contracts based on Cost Plus and understand Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

  • US Citizenship required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prefer either a technical or engineering degree
