MDW Associates Program Analyst in Crane, Indiana

MDW Associates is seekingProgram Analyststo provide support to NSWC - Crane Command Support Services (CCSS) in Crane, Indiana. This position is partially remote. Note that this requires candidates be located within reasonable proximity to Crane, Indiana in order to support the NSWC customer with hybrid work schedules, on-site meetings and other in-person requirements.

Essential job functions may include but not be limited to:

  • Provide program-specific analytical and planning support for the NSWC Crane Chief Technology Office (CTO) to include: Developing and maintaining program/project plans; Coordinating/securing meeting requirements with attendees on/off site; Providing synopses of meetings; Developing and maintaining databases; Providing research and analysis reports; Managing command conference and meeting spaces; Preparing conference packages, newsletters, data calls, and PAO requests; Evaluating and providing assessment of technical and non-technical program reports
  • Support to NSWC Crane's STEM Program to include: Full-day curriculum and teacher professional development; Providing overview of Crane technologies; Development and review of curriculum; Support of school and afterschool STEM programs (Sea Perch, FIRST, VEX, and the afterschool program Crane Tech); Assisting with execution of STEM events; Other activities in support of the STEM mission
  • Development and coordination of events including the Naval Innovative Science and Engineering (NISE) Mid-Year and End of Year Showcase; Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM); PhD Fellowship Forum; Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS); Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC) Day; University Student and Faculty tours and all other events associated with NSWC Crane Innovation programs
  • Develop plans and documentation in support of new and existing projects in support of the Command organization; Monitor the cost, performance, and schedule of projects and efforts and make recommendations for actions and improvements
  • Assist with internal and external support of student programs such as Capstone SMART, SEAP - The Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program, NREIP - The Naval Research Enterprise Program, etc.,
  • Coordinate efforts in support of the use of the High Velocity Innovation space across Crane to include scheduling unclassified presentations, meetings, conferences and other activities as needed
  • Develop, prepare and maintain program reports in Microsoft Project, Excel spreadsheets and word documents for use in supporting various programs and projects

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience supporting senior leadership in an administrative capacity required
  • Experience maintaining and organizing multiple calendars; Taking notes/meeting minutes and tracking action items; Organizing and managing senior-level visits, meetings and events; Effectively communicating with various levels of personnel; Drafting senior-level correspondence; Assisting in the preparation of briefings and information papers; Preparation of Data Calls; Working collaboratively on government and/or contractor teams
  • Prior experience in an Event Management capacity is preferred
  • Experience coordinating STEM and similar events is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access is a MUST
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, as well as time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate
  • Ability to act with professionalism and confidentiality

Education Requirement/Required Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in related field is required
  • A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution in business-related field preferred

Clearance Requirement(s):

  • Candidates must currently possess a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
