First Division Consulting Program Analyst III (NSWC) in Crane, Indiana

Contingent upon contract award.

NSWC Crane plays a pivotal role as the Acquisition Engineering Agent (AEA), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), and Fleet Support Team (FST) across a wide array of defense sectors. Their responsibilities encompass acquisition, procurement, contract administration, safety, in-service logistics, supply support, configuration management, and program management, alongside engineering disciplines ranging from design to production and repairs. NSWC offers vital support to airborne, maritime, and ground-based multi-sensor systems.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior level executives.

  • Provides detail-oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies. They may also be involved in various administrative tasks.

  • Have strong computer, finance, and analytical skills. They will often work with or lead teams.

  • Prepare and analyze schedules and reports as established in the program’s and/or project’s Schedule Management Plan (SMP).

  • Perform schedule update procedures, recovery plans and “what-if” schedules as required

  • Establish and monitor execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.

  • Develop and manage a program’s and/or project’s schedule that communicates to all levels of the project team and stakeholders effectively.

  • Support the collection and collation of data and the interpretation of timelines.

  • Perform IMS critical path, schedule slack, and task predecessor/successor networking analyses.

  • Perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).

Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in a related field and 15 years of experience in logistics support at the Program Office level.

  • Experience relevant to the DoD acquisition process, including program management and business management guidance.

  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel is highly desired.

  • Secret clearance Required. TS eligible.

  • Prior Experience: Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects required.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
