Description

SAIC is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide design and layout for new security systems to be installed at DoD locations nationwide.

  • Visit sites and prepare the redline drawings for planned system alterations and upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot security system issues.

  • Research, design, develop, modify, evaluate and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems.

  • Develop specifications for selecting components and equipment to use.

  • Provide support for ancillary facilities installation, modifications, yearly maintenance, inspections, trouble-shooting, and repair of AMAG Security Systems, American Dynamics and Pelco Digital Video Surveillance Systems and various security related sensors and devices such as balanced magnetic switches, surveillance cameras and infrared motion detectors in all USCENTCOM buildings located CONUS.

  • Inspection of installed security systems for each building to be performed quarterly and/or as required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and six (6) years or more related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more related experience

  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

  • Ability to obtain J-Std-001G-AM1 (ESD), Hazard Analysis, SOP Writing Trainings/Certifications. SAIC will sponsor the certification process.
