Data Management Analyst Lead, Aerospace - JR2413592

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The role of Data Management Analyst, Lead (Aerospace) is responsible for timely maintenance of master data aligned with business defined policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and speed to market. You meet with data owners and other functional business partners, to complete projects. You are a champion of master data policies/governance and comprehend the complexity of the data relationships required to ensure successful transactions. Ensure data privacy and security.

Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for utilizing an organization's data governance processes to ensure fitness of data elements - both the content and metadata. * Manage and develop the priorities and activities of subordinates in supporting the execution of the master data management strategy and initiate continuous improvement of data management processes. * Acts as escalation point for troubleshooting and solving complex data issues. Liaises with appropriate business functional partners for continual improvement of data processes and standards. * Oversee business projects as required. * Execute requested master data object creations and updates in ERP (QAD) and other supporting systems, aligning with defined policies, procedures, and workflows. * Front line point of contact for data governance rules and policies, data automation, data clean-up issues and questions. * Define data quality KPI's and metrics for data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. * Establish and maintain a master data management approval matrix to ensure all submissions follow an agreed upon business approval process. * These will be established through service level guidelines which will be monitored and reported on through metrics. * Liaise with key Functional Business partners to understand their customer experiences and leverage those interactions to to deliver improvements.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree preferred. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and data integrity. * Proven critical thinking and analytical skills. * Interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate successfully within a team and build positive business relationships and be a leader of change. * Ability to adapt to the evolving work processes. * 5+ years business experience working in a data focused role. * Previous experience in people management preferred. * QAD, Laserfiche, Power Query, Advanced MS Excel (including: vlookup(), concatenate(), and filter() functions), Visio, experience required. * US citizenship required.
